Andrea Berbegal has built her career where music meets social justice. As Director of Development at Brass for Africa, an award-winning organisation that uses music to transform the lives of extremely disadvantaged children and young people across Sub-Saharan Africa, she raises the funds and builds the international partnerships that help it grow. That work recently brought her to the stage of the Forbes 30 Under 30 Summit in Africa.
Before that, she managed world-renowned musicians at IMG Artists and led creative partnerships at the arts agency HarrisonParrott. Trained in music at the Guildhall School, with graduate study in human rights, she talks with Jordan about what music can do for a young person’s life, and how the arts can carry real social change.
